About:
Exhaustive exercise elicits a range of physiological responses, such as increasing core body temperature, glycogen depletion, and hypoglycaemia, collectively referred to as “fatigue”. However, the neural mechanism underlying these phenomena remains largely unknown. Here, we identified neurons activated during exhaustive exercise leading to the cessation of physical activity, indicative of a “fatigue-like state”.
