About BIST

The Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) is a collaborative institution of seven leading Catalan research centers. Its mission is to promote multidisciplinary work, increase the scientific and social impact of research, and enhance the training of research talent.
The centers that comprise BIST are seven centers within the CERCA system: the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), the Catalan Institute of Chemical Research (ICIQ), the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2), the Institute for High Energy Physics (IFAE), and the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona).

Dr. Eduard Vallory, Director General of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST), will share his scientific and strategic vision.
