In the second talk of the Second Series of Conferences on Gender Equity and Inclusion, Sabela Conde-Pumpido presents his lecture entitled “Camuflaje en el autismo: del constructo a sus implicaciones clínicas”, addressing camouflaging in autism as a key factor in gender differences and mental health.


Summary:
This talk will present advances in its assessment (CAT-Q-ES) and its relationship with variables such as stress, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. In addition, its usefulness in predicting autistic traits and depressive and anxious symptoms through machine learning will be explored.


Bio:
Sabela is a predoctoral researcher in the Cognición, Género y Desarrollo Research Group (CogniGeND), led by researcher Montse Fernández Prieto within the Genomics and Bioinformatics group at CiMUS. She is carrying out her doctoral thesis within the research line on gender differences during neurodevelopment.
