Droplet Digital PCR: ddPCR por multiplex razones
Raquel Cuéllar Gómez
Field Applications Specialist
CiMUS, Theatre room
More than 11,900 scientific publications and 109 clinical studies have validated Bio-Rad Laboratories’ Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR) technology in research, clinical diagnostics, animal health, and food and biopharmaceutical quality control, demonstrating its utility since its launch over a decade ago.
As a third-generation PCR technology, ddPCR offers absolute quantification with exceptional sensitivity and precision of DNA, RNA, or live cells in low-abundance or highly complex samples, without the need for a standard curve.
In this in-person seminar, discover:
- The power of nanodroplet partitioning and the advantages of the technology compared to qPCR or NGS.
- The most important applications of Droplet Digital PCR technology:
- Detection and quantification of rare events/mutations.
- Copy Number Variation (CNV) and linkage analysis.
- Detection and quantification of gene editing.
- Gene expression analysis in mRNA, miRNA, lncRNA, and single-cell formats.
- Evaluation of methylation patterns.
- Integration with the NGS workflow.
- Experimental optimisation and Droplet Digital PCR assay design.
- Workflow: QX systems, consumables, assays, and kits.
Certificates of attendance will be provided upon request at cimus.xestion [at] usc.es (cimus[dot]xestion[at]usc[dot]es). Please do not forget to enter your name and surname in the printout given during the lecture.
