III Annual CiMUS Workshop - Virtual Edition

On July 20^th and 27^th, the CiMUS will host the third edition of its Annual Workshop, exclusively addressed to the in-house scientific staff.

The workshop has been conceived with the principal idea of promoting interaction and collaboration among the researchers of CiMUS, enhancing interdisciplinary research in the field of biomedical sciences and related areas.

All researchers working in CiMUS are welcome to present their projects during the event, either as oral communications or posters. However, this year has been designed as a virtual two-day event to share and disseminate the scientific work carried out in our Centre:

• July 20^th: oral sessions (morning)
• July 20^th to July 27^th: poster exhibition in the hall (poster evaluation from 20^th to 24^th)
• July 27^th: keynote speaker session + award ceremony (morning or afternoon -pending confirmation)

The workshop has been specifically envisioned to allow master students, PhD students and early-stage postdoctoral scientists the opportunity to showcase their work. The event will also feature a keynote lecture:

Ana Fernández-Sesma, PhD: Professor of Microbiology and Group Leader at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. Her laboratory studies the innate immunity evasion by human viruses in primary systems.

All participants should register here and submit their abstracts online before the following deadlines:

• Deadline for abstract submission: June 29^th,2020. Extended 3^rd July
• Deadline for registration: July 13^th, 2020.
• Virtual CiMUS Workshop: July 20^th- 27^th, 2020.
