Next July, the CiMUS will hold the fourth edition of its Annual Workshop exclusively addressed to the in-house scientific members. It will do so on the 21st and 28th, blending the online and semi presential formats as in the previous edition given the current situation.
The workshop has been conceived with the main idea of promoting interaction and collaboration among the researchers working in CiMUS, enhancing interdisciplinary research in the field of biomedical sciences and related areas.
CiMUS researchers are welcome to present their projects, either as oral communications or posters, during this two-day scientific event, according to the following calendar:
- July 21st: virtual oral sessions (morning) LINK provided to registered participants
- July 21st to July 28th: poster exhibition in the hall (poster evaluation from 22nd to 27th)
- July 28th: virtual keynote speaker session + award ceremony (afternoon) REGISTER HERE
As in previous editions, the workshop has been specifically envisioned to allow master students, PhD students and early-stage postdoctoral scientists (PhD defence date from 2016 onwards) the opportunity to showcase their work. They will have the chance to present their work in the form of short talks and posters. Prizes will be awarded in both categories. Master students may present their work in the form of posters, while PhD students and Postdocs may present short oral communications or posters. In any case, participants can only submit one abstract for consideration.
