Resume:
Organoids have become established as key three‑dimensional models for studying complex biological processes and accelerating translational research. The integration of technologies from the Bio‑Techne ecosystem enables deeper and more robust characterisation. RNAscope provides high‑resolution spatial analysis to map gene expression within organoid structures. Complementarily, the ELLA platform offers multiplex, ultrasensitive quantification of secreted or intracellular biomarkers. Together, these tools deliver a comprehensive functional‑spatial view that enhances the discovery of mechanisms, target validation, and the development of more effective therapies.
Bio:
Ignacio Rodríguez is a biologist trained at the Complutense University of Madrid, specialising in the molecular and functional characterisation of microorganisms with applications in industrial biotechnology. He completed his PhD in the Department of Microbiology, where he conducted research in advanced microbial processes and high‑resolution analytical techniques.
He has solid experience in cell biology, applied microbiology, and omics technologies, and has contributed to the design and optimisation of experimental platforms oriented towards translational research.
He currently serves as a Team Leader at Bio‑Techne, where he leads scientific strategies and integrated projects involving high‑impact technologies. In his role, he drives the adoption of innovative methodologies to accelerate biomarker discovery and validation.
