NEW TRENDS IN BIOMEDICINE (IV Edition) 

The New Trends in Biomedicine summer course reaches its fourth edition as part of the “Universidade de Verán 2026” programme of the University of Santiago de Compostela. It is organized by CiMUS principal investigators Anxo Vidal and Manuel Collado.

This course offers a comprehensive update on the most recent knowledge in this constantly evolving field. Topics to be covered include stem cell biology, genome editing, new experimental models, chemical biology, and the role of artificial intelligence in biomedical research. The aim is to provide an overall perspective on the advances that are transforming the study and treatment of diseases. The sessions will be delivered by experts of recognized prestige, and due to its international nature, the course will be taught in Galician, Spanish, and English.
