Ciencia Singular
Ciencia Singular is the open day where the research of excellence of the USC opens its doors to the society.
CiMUS joins CiQUS, CiTIUS and IGAFE to celebrate the largest annual outreach meeting, which invites families and visitors of all ages to approach the research developed in the scientific ecosystem of Red de Centros Singulares of USC.
The programme includes outreach talks given by renowned principal investigators of our centre, these talks can be followed by streaming on the CiMUS youtube channel, interactive workshops for teenagers and adults in which to learn in a practical way different topics related to biomedical research, guided tour of the Innopharma Platform facilities and the Ciencia divertida Workshop aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old.

Ciencia Singular é a xornada de portas abertas onde a investigación de excelencia da USC abre as súas portas á cidadanía.
O CiMUS súmase ao CiQUS, CiTIUS e IGAFE para celebrar o maior encontro divulgativo anual, que invita a familias e visitantes de todas as idades a achegarse á investigación realizada no ecosistema científico da Rede de Centros Singulares da USC.
O programa inclúe charlas divulgativas impartidas por recoñecidos investigadores principais do noso centro, estas charlas poden seguirse por streaming na canle de YouTube do CiMUS, obradoiros interactivos para adolescentes e adultos nos que aprender diferentes temas relacionados coa investigación biomédica de xeito práctico, percorrido polas instalacións da Plataforma Innopharma e o Obradoiro de Ciencia Divertida dirixido a nenos e nenas de 6 a 12 anos.
International Day of Women and Girls in Science - 11F
On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, CiMUS is organising a workshop for girls and boys from local schools.
The aim of the day is to make the work of women scientists visible, to promote women's roles in the fields of science and technology and to promote practices that favour gender equality in these areas.
Día Internacional da Muller e a Nena na Ciencia - 11F
Con motivo do Día Internacional da Muller e da Nena na Ciencia, o CiMUS organiza un obradoiro para nenas e nenos dos centros educativos locais.
O obxectivo das xornadas é visibilizar o traballo das mulleres científicas, promover o papel das mulleres nos ámbitos da ciencia e da tecnoloxía e promover prácticas que favorezan a igualdade de xénero nestes ámbitos.
Open day for Biology faculty
This conference aims to make the research lines of the groups belonging to the CiMUS known to the students of the USC Faculty of Biology. In addition to an informative talk to learn about the operation of the center, students can visit the laboratories and hold a networking session where experienced researchers and IPs from each group participate.
This activity makes it easier for students to choose an area and a project to carry out their end-of-degree project and offers them a starting point to start their future scientific activity.
Xornada de portas abertas para a Facultade de Bioloxía
O obxectivo desta xornada é presentar as liñas de investigación dos grupos pertencentes ao CiMUS ao alumnado da Facultade de Bioloxía da USC. Ademais dunha charla informativa para coñecer o funcionamento do centro, o alumnado poderá visitar os laboratorios e realizar unha sesión de networking na que participan investigadores experimentados e investigadores principais de cada grupo participante.
Esta actividade facilita aos estudantes a elección dun ámbito e dun proxecto para realizar o seu traballo fin de grao e ofrécelle un punto de partida para iniciar a súa futura actividade científica.
