"How to publish a paper with Cell Press"

This talk will discuss the ins and outs of the peer review process, from (pre-)submission to publication, and will present some of the newer publishing initiatives at Cell Press. Also, it will provide insights into the daily life of a professional scientific editor and how to become one.

Bio:

Dr. Salvatore Fabbiano is a senior scientific editor at Cell Press and has been on the editorial teams at Cell Metabolism and Med. He received his Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Salamanca, where he studied signaling pathways involved in cardiometabolic diseases in the lab of Xosé R. Bustelo. He then worked with Mirko Trajkovski at the University of Geneva, focusing on host-microbiota homeostasis. He joined Cell Metabolism as scientific editor in 2018 and moved to Med, Cell Press?s flagship medical journal, in late 2019.
