Next December, CiMUS will hold its Annual Workshop for the fifth year. It will do so on the 19th, in order to continue promoting interaction and collaboration between the Center's researchers and promoting interdisciplinary research in the field of biomedical and scientific sciences related areas.
CiMUS researchers will be able to disseminate the scientific work they carry out at the Center either through oral communications or posters, during this one-day scientific presential event, according to the following calendar:
December 19: oral and poster sessions and keynote speaker conference
As in previous editions, the program will include a KEYNOTE CONFERENCE that will be given by Ángel Nebreda, ICREA Research Professor, ERC Advanced Grant and group leader of the Signalling and Cell Cycle Laboratory at IRB, Barcelona. This lecture will be entitled:
"Exploring tumor vulnerabilities by targeting stress kinase signaling"
All participants must register through the following link, sending their abstracts* in the following terms:
*Only for PhD students and early postdocs whose PhD defence is from 2022 onwards can present abstracts
- Deadline for abstract submission: November 12, 2024
- Registration deadline: December 3, 2024
- CiMUS workshop date: December 19, 2024
The specifications that must be taken into account for participation are detailed below:
- The official abstract template should be used since any other format will be rejected

- Make sure that confidential information is not disclosed before sending it
- Last-minute abstract substitutions will not be accepted
- It is recalled that this event is intended for CiMUS scientific staff only
Posters will have a maximum dimension of A0, a portrait (vertical) layout.
A reference number for your poster will be sent by email. The poster should be printed and displayed on the available boards during the workshop
Printing and cost management will be the responsibility of the presenter and/or the research group.
