Jornadas de puertas abiertas

Ciencia Singular is the open day where the research of excellence of the USC opens its doors to the society. 

CiMUS joins CiQUS, CiTIUS and IGAFE to celebrate the largest annual outreach meeting, which invites families and visitors of all ages to approach the research developed in the scientific ecosystem of Red de Centros Singulares of USC. 

The programme includes outreach talks given by renowned principal investigators of our centre, these talks can be followed by streaming on the CiMUS youtube channel, interactive workshops for teenagers and adults in which to learn in a practical way different topics related to biomedical research, guided tour of the Innopharma Platform facilities and the Ciencia divertida Workshop aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old.

Ciencia Singular es la jornada de puertas abiertas donde la investigación de excelencia de la USC abre sus puertas a los ciudadanos.

CiMUS se une a CiQUS, CiTIUS e IGAFE para celebrar el mayor encuentro anual de divulgación, que invita a familias y visitantes de todas las edades a acercarse a las investigaciones que se desarrollan en el ecosistema científico de la Red de Centros Singulares de la USC.

El programa incluye charlas de divulgación impartidas por reconocidos investigadores principales de nuestro centro, estas charlas se pueden seguir por streaming en el canal de youtube del CiMUS, talleres interactivos para adolescentes y adultos en los que aprender de forma práctica diferentes temas relacionados con la investigación biomédica, visita guiada por las instalaciones de la Plataforma Innopharma y el Taller Ciencia divertida dirigido a niños de 6 a 12 años.

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, CiMUS is organising a workshop for girls and boys from local schools.
The aim of the day is to make the work of women scientists visible, to promote women's roles in the fields of science and technology and to promote practices that favour gender equality in these areas.

Con motivo del Día Internacional de la Mujer y la Niña en la Ciencia el CiMUS organiza un taller para niñas y niños de colegios locales.
El objetivo de la jornada es visibilizar el trabajo de las científicas, potenciar los roles femeninos en los ámbitos de la ciencia y la tecnología y promover prácticas que favorezcan la igualdad de género en estas áreas.

Esta jornada tiene como objetivo dar a conocer las líneas de investigación de los grupos pertenecientes al CiMUS a los alumnos de la Facultad de Biología de la USC. Además de una charla informativa para conocer el funcionamiento del centro, los alumnos pueden visitar los laboratorios y realizar una sesión de networking donde participan investigadores experimentados e investigadores principales de cada grupo participante.

Esta actividad facilita a los alumnos la elección de un área y un proyecto para realizar su trabajo de fin de grado y les ofrece un punto de partida para iniciar su futura actividad científica.

This conference aims to make the research lines of the groups belonging to the CiMUS known to the students of the USC Faculty of Biology. In addition to an informative talk to learn about the operation of the center, students can visit the laboratories and hold a networking session where experienced researchers and IPs from each group participate. 

This activity makes it easier for students to choose an area and a project to carry out their end-of-degree project and offers them a starting point to start their future scientific activity.
