Atlas™ Imaging System demonstration
Technical specialists from LICORbio.
LICORbio
Theatre room, CiMUS
A practical demonstration of the Atlas™ Imaging System from LICORbio will be carried out. This platform is specifically designed for the analysis of three-dimensional cellular models, including organoids, spheroids, and co-culture systems.
The Atlas system represents a new-generation, image-based screening solution that enables deeper and more consistent information to be obtained from 2D and 3D cell cultures, while integrating acquisition and measurement processes into a single, efficient platform. This approach reduces the likelihood of error, speeds up decision-making, and optimises the use of resources in fields such as spatial biology, drug development, and translational research. The system is built upon more than thirty years of LICORbio’s experience in fluorescence imaging technologies.
Its main capabilities include:
Acquisition of complete plates in under one minute, with no need for stitching or post‑acquisition corrections.
High‑resolution single‑well imaging.
More than 30 detection channels, ranging from UV fluorescence to near‑infrared, as well as luminescence channels.
Generation of Z‑stacks and 2D projections suitable for the analysis of complex three‑dimensional structures.
This system is particularly suitable for work related to disease modelling, drug discovery, and the study of complex cellular interactions, providing high‑quality results in less time and with fewer operational steps.
