Bringing CiMUS Together at Christmas
Christmas returns once again to CiMUS with a special programme of activities designed to strengthen interaction, collegiality and the sense of community among the Centre’s different research groups.
With this aim, on Friday, 19 December, at 2:00 p.m., a special Christmas lunch will be held in the CiMUS hall, providing a relaxed meeting space to share a special moment together. At the end of the lunch, the winners of the 2nd CiMUS Christmas Door Contest will be announced. This initiative, developed by CiMUS PhD students, once again highlights the creativity, commitment and team spirit of the people who make up the Centre.
The afternoon will continue with the 2nd CiMUS Charity Bingo, scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. The money raised will be donated to a charitable organisation, chosen by vote of the participants: each line or bingo winner may select, from a list of proposed organisations, the one they wish to support. The organisation receiving the highest number of votes will be the beneficiary of the funds raised. In addition, each line or bingo winner will receive a small symbolic gift.
🎄We hope you will join us to enjoy a special occasion full of Christmas spirit, good food and solidarity🎄
From the direction and management of CiMUS we feel that we have received the best possible Christmas greeting in the form of the beautiful Christmas Doors: the most vivid expression of the joy and commitment of the people who make CiMUS what it is. This year, the standard has been exceptionally high, making the choice particularly difficult. For us, all of them are winners.
Thank you very much, and happy holidays!
