CiMUS hosts the launch of the USC–SunRock Biopharma Joint Unit for the Preclinical Development of Biological Therapies

This coming Thursday, 4 June, at 9.30 am, CiMUS will host the launch event for the USC–SunRock Biopharma Joint Unit for the Preclinical Development of Biological Therapies, an initiative recently awarded by the Galician Agency for Innovation (GAIN).
This Joint Unit has been established with the aim of promoting research, preclinical development and biotechnological innovation in the field of biological therapies, fostering knowledge transfer and the advancement of translational health research.
The project brings together three research groups from CiMUS, alongside the Centre for Experimental Biomedicine (CEBEGA) and the biotechnology company SunRock Biopharma.
During the event, the scientific and technological objectives of the Joint Unit, its working methodology and the participating entities will be presented, alongside an analysis of its potential contribution to the Galician R&D&I ecosystem. The event will also serve as a meeting point for researchers, institutional representatives and stakeholders from the biotechnology sector committed to advancing innovation in health.
