CiMUS hosts the sixth training course of the ITN Drug Train
Today, the CiMUS of the USC hosted the sixth training course of the ITN Drug Train. During the meeting, topics were addressed such as the Vision on the new fields of European research by a former Director General of Research and Agriculture of the European Union, José Manuel Silva; the impact of genomics and other major Spanish health initiatives from the group leader, Ángel Carracedo; from drug reuse screening to proof of concept in humans, taught by researcher Manuel Collado; Drug repurposing: the new method of choice for creating new drugs? from the director of Public Private Partnerships at the Kaertor Foundation, Antonio Gómez, and the experience of writing ERC grants and scientific communication with the new CiMUS group leader, Yolanda Prezado.
Attendees were also able to visit the Innopharma Drug Discovery Platform, which has recently increased its capacity and international competitiveness through the acquisition/updating of scientific-technical equipment and the creation of jobs for personnel specialized in the management of new technologies.
