CiMUS participates in an exchange of experiences in San Sebastian to promote scientific cooperation with the Basque Country
The CiMUS of the USC, represented by its directors, Mabel Loza and José Luis Labandeira, participated this week in the meetings held within the framework of an exchange of experiences and the use of synergies between the leading Galician and Basque research centres. This Unique Centre was part of the Galician delegation made up of the Secretary General of Universities, vice-rectors of research of the three Galician public universities together with the ten centres that make up the CIGUS Network of the Xunta.
Galicia and the Basque Country share the challenge of attracting and retaining scientific talent as one of the keys to the future of the research systems of both autonomous communities, as well as the possibility of opening lines of cooperation between both models. These meetings allowed for joint reflections to be opened to implement actions that involve a better use of our scientific potential.
