On 5 November 2024, CiMUS researchers Yolanda Prezado, from the New Approaches in Radiotherapy group, and Marcos García, from the Biomaterials & Drug Delivery group, participated as speakers at the prestigious 2024 Taipei Symposium in Precision Cancer Medicine: Convergence and Beyond, held in the city of Taipei.
The symposium brought together leading experts in oncology to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of oncology and its clinical translation.
During their visit, researchers Prezado and García had the opportunity to establish new collaborations in the field of oncology research. They held bilateral meetings with the management teams and research groups of the Taipei Medical University Hospital and the Buddhist Tzu Chi Hospital and Innovation Research Center, thus strengthening international ties in the fight against cancer.
