World Autism Day: A Call for Inclusion

World Autism Day: A Call for Inclusion 💙

On World Autism Day, our CiMUS researchers remind us that no two people with autism are the same, which is why the term ASD, or Autism Spectrum Disorder, is used.

Researchers from the Genomics & Bioinformatics group, who are involved in studies in this field, join today’s mission: to promote the acceptance and appreciation of autistic individuals and their contributions to society. They do so with the infinity symbol (♾), representing the diversity and uniqueness of the autism spectrum.

At CiMUS, we will continue working to contribute through research to the early diagnosis of ASD, as early diagnosis and intervention can lead to better outcomes in social skills and overall development.

We are infinite! ♾
