Strategic Management & Innovation Direction
The Strategic Management and Innovation Direction is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the center’s operations. It works closely with the Scientific Direction to develop and implement the institutional strategy, support decision-making, and align activities with the center’s objectives. It coordinates the management team and promotes actions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen international visibility, and foster knowledge transfer.
Transfer and Internationalisation
The Transfer and Internationalisation Unit at CiMUS is responsible for launching, identifying, and participating in international collaboration initiatives. In addition, it supports researchers in knowledge transfer and market-oriented activities, and defines tools and actions to strengthen the centre’s project pipeline. This unit is crucial for enhancing CiMUS’s international presence and ensuring that scientific advances are translated into practical and commercial applications.
Communication and Outreach
The Communication and Public Engagement Unit at CiMUS is dedicated to promoting and raising the visibility of the centre’s research activities. This unit manages both internal and external communication, organises events and science outreach activities, and develops informative content for diverse audiences, ensuring that CiMUS’s scientific advances are accessible and understandable to society.
Management and General Services
The CiMUS Management and General Services Unit coordinates the centre scientific infrastructure and technical support staff; the IT support service, providing assistance in the use of equipment, applications, IT services, connectivity, etc.; and the strategic management of the María de Maeztu Programme, coordinating the implementation and monitoring of the strategic plan associated with the accreditation and ensuring compliance with the programme’s scientific, organisational and impact objectives.
Scientific‑technical support
The scientific‑technical support team ensures the optimal maintenance and operation of resources and infrastructures. It also provides essential technical and logistical support for researchers.
