Eduardo Domínguez Medina

I am Senior Investigator in Genomic Medicine group at Center for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases (CiMUS) at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral Fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute in chemical physiology.

We are interested in discovering novel molecules and targets with potential therapeutic interest in oncology and metabolic disease. I participated in Open Innovation joint efforts and consortiums devoted to identify new drugs for unmet clinical needs. We have developed drug discovery platforms focused on novel target-based and phenotypic assays, high-content imaging, biological tools, DNA-encoded libraries screening, and immunopharmacology. In summary, we study relevant mechanisms associated to disease and immune response to translate them into innovative therapies useful to patients.
