CiMUS call for a research career

  • CiMUS of the USC offers, during July, 14 scholarships to undergraduate students who wish to approach research.

CiMUS of the USC opens the VII edition of its Summer Scholarship Programme «CiMUS Summer School», offering 14 scholarships aimed at undergraduate students who wish to have their first research experience in the field of Life Sciences. The scholarships are aimed at financing research stays at CiMUS.

During the stay from 1 to 31 July, the selected candidates will have the opportunity to develop a short research project under the supervision of a principal investigator of the centre within the two research programmes: Molecular mechanisms of chronic diseases (obesity, metabolism, neurology and cancer) and New drugs and new therapeutic strategies (drug screening, nano-delivery, genomic medicine and radiotheragnostics).

The aim is for students to be integrated into a dynamic and competitive research environment and to work on topics at the frontiers of knowledge. They will also be able to participate in all the centre's scientific activities.
